Luke 3:23-38        A Long Line

​

      Each man in this line was a link, a 25 to 35-year long link of God’s grace to succeeding generations.  There are probably a few names missing, and generations skipped.  But it is centuries of people woven into God’s plan, people who were faulty, sinful, confused, and still hopeful that you could be at work in spite of them.

      Lord, help me to complete my work to influence the next generation and the next, in that line that you can see even when I cannot.
