We don't know. That phrase is the beginning of many public statements today. And I don't like it. But . . . .

When everything is coming apart, people who hang on tight to their senses, love their neighbor and trust in God, will make a difference.

Am I a privileged white man? Can I be reconciled to that phrase? My first reaction has been, “Yes, I am white, but not privileged."
