Luke 22:7-13       Jesus Plans His Last Supper

           Jesus, your covert preparation for Passover is almost amusing.  You made secret arrangements in advance that the twelve knew nothing about.  That guy carrying a water jug!  Like an underground conspiracy, you brought your most trusted followers together for a last minute briefing on how you planned to subvert the regime, the regime of Satan, not Rome.

          Jesus, what is your message to me in this ?  “Don’t over-think your obedience.  When you don’t understand, just obey.  Trust me.  I have a plan.”  It’s hard for me to do that.  Give me grace to not need to know everything, but rather to obey when you are calling me to do something.
