Life is more meaningful when we take the effort to connect with people; and especially with some whose health is limiting their freedom.

A stump in our yard, decaying for uncounted years, has a center totally gone, but all around, the stump’s blackened sides tell a story.

As I sat outside I experienced being in touch with another world. The world that does not depend on me. I am not God.
